not long now...

I kinda like this one because it is a bit messy and there is an air of impatience!

Karmazyniello and Lilly, the two of you are excellent photographers, so I really need to know what you see in this shot?
For me, it has no redeeming features
I would have consigned this to the bin and I'm not sure if that makes me a bad photographer...

Isn't all photography subjective, we cannot all appreciate the same things we see in the same way, I know there is a lot of snaps I see that don't really turn me on, but heh, it wouldn't be good for us all to like the same thing.
Even down to judging in competitions there is often contraversy as to what and should have been awarded first place.
I like this kinda of image because it is real life and not contrived in anyway, I get my inspiration for this sort of doggy candid reportage from the master himself, Elliott Erwitt see: http://www.elliotterwitt.com/lang/index.html but in no way do I consider myself anywhere near his standard, I just try! But, perhaps you will not like his work also, which is OK, but Karmazyniello is in my camp and obviously does.
It is just a snap of a moment in time that has I admit has an oddness about it, but that is why I like it, perhaps I am just different!

Thanks for not rising to my negative comments Lilly. Gartmore put me onto Elliott Erwitt a while back and I was blown away. I really love his compositions and the tonal quality.
It was unfair of me to ask you what you see in this, clearly it touched you because you were there and knew the story but when the normally brutally honest Karmazyniello said, 'good shot' I thought eh?? and decided I had to understand what was going on.
