David - please stop - you are making this incredibly difficult for me - first year in 12 that I have not been to Cornwall and will not make it this year. Please do not go on the boat trip from Padstow and see dolphins like i did last time, also avoid the boat trip from Penzance that I managed to photograph basking sharks from - and if you could stay away from St Ives bay - especially Godrevy lighthouse end - I would be eternally grateful -oh and - don't go to Sennan, Minnack or Marazion, Mousehole or St Michael's mount - you wouldn't like them
Oh as for the photo - a Cornish Classic

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Thanks Trixie, so kind of you to say so! We're having a great time in Cornwall, despite lots of heavy showers the weather near the coast has been pretty good! Yesterday we drove through torrential downpours to get to Constantine Bay on the North Coast, then half a mile from the coast the rain stopped and it was unbroken sunshine all day! Inland the downpours continued all day.

David

Great shot David. Did you get wet? Bet you were glad of the K-5 WR or is that why you decided you needed the 18-55 WR

Hi Dave, yes, I was in the sea thigh deep for this shot! The waves were pretty big and powerful, so I was risking the K-5 and 50-500 lens, but no harm was done and I got some nice images.
Regards
David
