Have just checked the B+W one out also, but I have to say i much prefer this colour one...absolutely superb. I love the feel of it being almost a painting. Was it totally candid or did she know you were about to take the shot? Great capture either way.
It was totally candid, but as I was about to press the shutter she noticed me taking the shot. I think this makes it as she is looking straight at the lens.

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

Yes, I prefer this too, fabulous colours. May I be cheeky and ask is this a processed RAW or a Jpeg? I the latter, what camera setting did you use, bright, vivid, natural???
Hi Defragged, I normally shoot RAW, but as I took so many images on holiday I reverted to jpeg. This one is a jpeg in the 'natural' setting. The colours in the paintings were extremely bright and the light was very good too. I have adjusted levels in PP and increased saturation, but only very slightly (+6 in photoshop).

I wonder if the woman in the shot will ever get to see it!
I very much doubt it! I think I would have to become a successful and famous photographer for her to see it and I don't think that will ever happen
