Staircase

This is in a gorgeous Art Nouveau period house in Soller, Mallorca, called "Can Prunera". Its architecture and original furnishings are magnificent. It is also used for permanent display of early 20thC artwork and visiting exhibitions. It is a must visit building. The dangling light fitting down the middle of the stairwell is a recent addition that (to my mind) spoils it but you can't please everybody I suppose.
Fortunately, CCTV aside, no one watched me take the picture - I lay on my back on the cold tile floor with the camera balanced on my face clicking away for about five minutes!
