Object Lessons: The World is Your Oyster
by Wildwood512
An idiom from 'The Merry Wives of Windsor' (1600) by William Shakespeare.
-The person in question is literally influential to the point that he/she can be compared to having the world in his/her possession,
-The person in question has a lot of choice in some matter.
This is the third and final photo installment under the Heading: Object Lessons. This series of photos was taken whilst my family & I were stranded in a hotel for a few days due to car trouble while traveling. The first in the series is titled: Lofty Geometrics. The second is titled: Citrus Splash.
What the heck is it?
Chock full of colour and interest.
What the heck is it?
David, since you asked, I'll reveal the behind the scenes of this photo. The globe like object is an earthen colored glass ball, about the size of a grapefruit or softball. I placed it in a silver scalloped dish. The ball and dish are resting on a turquoise cloth chair. I took dome close up pics of it, then edited, cropped and framed it. And. Voilą! 😉
