Prompted by a photo on Trip Advisor which was taken mere centimeters away from where mine was shot. One of my earliest digital attempts converted to mono and a lot of contrast fed in, which has almost obliterated the sky.

Shame about the sky Paul but a captivating and atmospheric shot all the same

A nice bw....about sky!!!!I'm not sure it's a bad sky. Without clouds on the right it could be better. For this reason it seems to be bad. I like contrast between buildings and oveexopsed(white) sky. In BW...white is a colour...it doesn't mean...The Nothing.....However this is my humble opinion only! This comment is not a negative comment against your photo info or against Jimmy' opinion.

I'm with Giulio. I don't think the white sky is a fault. The empty sky helps to focus on the nice buildings. I like its strong contrast. This is one of your bests IMHO.
