I agree, i like the greenish tones that give it an even colder feel.

very special tone that perfectly supports the atmosphere of the shot - as well as the perfect sharpness. Only thing I would change is, to stamp away the fence on the right side (should be rather easy as it mainly covers a homogenous snow surface....
Would love to experiment with IR but my K20D unfortunately does not support it.....

Thanks all for your comments. It is gratifying, especially on shots like this one. It is probably one of the most difficult shots I've ever taken as I had to get the tripod set up whilst dangling over a high fence and the tripod legs were at all angles, one of them on edge of a precipice. At one stage the whole lot nearly toppled into a river below!
