Ghostly Ruins of Medieval Past.....
by davidstorm
This is the completion of a recent series of shots I took at Roche Abbey and sort of completes the circle. I uploaded a landscape looking back at the Abbey yesterday; this IR version was shot at the same time and from the same viewpoint.
K-x, DA L 18-55mm, Hoya IR Filter, Tripod, 105 second exposure.
Needs the large view to make the details in the distance visible.

Great shot, bags of atmosphere. Very moody.
Best wishes,

Some parts of it seems a bit dark in the normal view, but when I've anlarged it the picture looked well. Nice shot, effective PP.

Thank you Gabor and everyone else for your comments. Sometimes it's difficult to see pictures properly on the PU Gallery as they get reduced in resolution so much. This one really needs its full resolution!
