A lovely shot, well judged colours and transitions, you've kept them real. I am going to court controversy and make a suggestion, I'm ready to be ignored/shot down in flames.
I would probably crop off the bottom of the sea to just above the wave disturbance and then probably approx. half the space to the right side of the remains. I do realise the remnants of the pier will no longer be on the third(or there about).
But as others have said beautiful photograph.

Thanks all.
Nigel; agreed. I was trying to get the clear sea but would have got rather wet. I was also trying to keep a big sky but didn't want to swivel to the left and close RHS down to the ruined pier as then the other pier would have neterd frame. However I have tried doing what you suggest and it does work - thanks!

Gorgeous image, I wouldn't do a thing to it, it is great as it is.
