Sorry to be repetative- just joined. I have a shot of the bridge from a more unusual angle , I should have posted that since the world and their dogs have this shot.
I am told that night photography is easier with digital ,no recipocrity failure etc., But I have been using Velvia so long that I like the colour shift for night shots. Any views on this?
Geo.

Yes the colours are rich and vivid and your composition is very good I really like it. Now that I live in Spain and have never seen the bridge if i go back anytime and as I come from Gourock it's in my list.
Please fill in your location so we all know where you are, Thanks
Jack.

If you can make images as good as this using Velvia, then stick with what you know. As my biker friend would say: "If it's not... " ahem, broken... "then don't fix it". I don't know Glasgow or this view, but this is a lovely photo.
Cheers, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
