Craiova, Romania
One of several shots I took on a recent flight with Pegasus Airlines Manchester to Istanbul.
Craiova is apparently the seventh largest city in Romania with a population of about 230-240,000 although like the country its population is decreasing compared to a couple of decades ago.
At the bottom of the image is the River Jiu which is just over 200 miles long before flowing into the Danube further downstream.
