Taken a few years back using a K-01, kind of miss that camera now since it was great using it on a tripod.

It's very nice. Far from negative comments about a 'kit' lens, this shows just what can be achieved with such a lens.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thank you, agreed about the negativity surrounding kit lenses, I find that from 24-50mm and stopped down a little, all the DA(L)18-55mm variants are solid performers, only ever had one that was badly decentred.
K-01 (Silver) / 21mm / 40mm / 50mm / 18-55mm
