Mirage

Photo of the Week by 1stEverPentax

Specifically a 2000-5F model of Escadron de Chasse 1/2 Cigognes, operating from BA116 Luxeuil in eastern France.

One of my favourite military aircraft of all time...so beautiful to look at...to the extent that any military aircraft designed to kill could be described as 'beautiful'.

The Mirage 2000 is one of my faves as well.... beautiful plane.

I used to go to WAVE at RAF Waddington, and they were there most of the time. I used to go thru loads of film there with my MZ5

Cheers Spad.

I've got a few more planes to upload this week before 'calling time' on them!

Not exactly 'traditional' Pentax subject matter I know...but the K-3 / DA*200 does work suprisingly well on both Aviation and Sports using single spot centre AF and the 24MP sensor gives plenty of scope for cropping on highest resolution/quality.
