HMS Queen Elizabeth under the Forth Bridge
by McBrian
Probably the most difficult shot I've had to make, dark, cloudy, windy, back lit spotlights and a subject moving a lot faster that I anticipated.
K1 wih D FA 15-30 on a small travel tripod wedged in to the rocks, shot in LV with IR remote.

Stands out well. The processing suites the subject matter.

There's a powerful muscularity to both the bridge and the ship in this 😊 upliftingly colourful 😊

The most difficult picture you have taken and you mastered it. Surely also one of the best pictures you could have taken.

Hi All.
Many thanks for all the comments, very much appreciated.
The image looks decent at screen size, it was very noisy for a K1 file at ISO3200, what I did notice in PP, LR couldn't lift the shadows very much hence I've had to put it through Define and Viveza a few times with the resultant lose of sharpness, will see what it looks like printed at A4 and A3.
If you look closely you can just see the train directly above the boat deck, the driver must have timed his departure from North Queesferry station to get the time that !!
