The Flying Scotsman leaving the Nene Valley Railway
by GlynM
We went out early this Sunday morning in dreadful weather to see the Flying Scotsman on its way back to York having spent a few weeks here on the Nene Valley Railway. It was stopping at Orton Mere to pick up the driver who was taking it back onto the main line to the NRM.
Not a very brilliant picture. It was pouring with rain and the early lighting was poor but the WR features of the Pentax came into their own. I am sure that the weather put off many other enthusiasts.
