Monochrome Organ Pites

by davesexton

From a recent session at Lancing College Chapel. This is a tighter shot of a portion of the four manual Walker Organ. This image was shot using PENTAX K-1 and the PENTAX 100mm f/2.8 macro lens that I have recently purchased. The image was developed from RAW using DxO Optics Pro 11. I have stylised the image in ON1 Photo RAW, including the black and white conversion, which ON1 does a particularly good job of, offering lots of control over tonality. Finally, the image has had unwanted artefacts removed using Affinity Photo.

Composition is pretty good too.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Not bad at all. A photo should draw the eye. Show things differently. Make one hesitate, wonder, ask, debate, examine—really look and not just glance. It's all here.
