K3 100 macro and Vivitar 5000 Ring Flash
I made over 20 attempts to get this particular view and in all but three shots bumble bees arrived at speed sometimes 2 or 3 at once. You don't see them coming in the viewfinder!

Funny you should say that. I have had several shots photobombed by passing bees this week - and having commented on the severe LACK of them in April and May perhaps it really has been a late start for them? Perseverance has paid off here though. It's a marvelous shot that shows every detail.

The interior is most attractive, and you've done it justice. Ring flash makes a nice contribution here.
