Portrait of my Niece

Shot on the patio in Cesme when they came to visit us. She had given me the same pose when she was a child and the photograph is still hanging on the wall of her mother's house. I wanted to shoot her in the same pose again to compare.

This is a nice portrait of your Niece, focus bang on the eyes, works well in B&W. I think it could be stronger. I would have removed the stack of chairs and darken down the bright left hand side of the image. As is I would crop the left side removing the chairs entirely. Once cropped the portrait becomes much stronger in my opinion, one really is drawn into you Beautiful Niece's eyes. I hope you don't mind my comments please treat them with a pinch of salt should you wish.

A beautiful portrait of a beautiful girl. Two "eye"catching eyes!!! I would like to watch at collage of the old photo and this one....Try to replace and fill background with the old portrait...It could be nice to compare that past and this present
