New Years at the Park

by Jimmy_Dean0

To bring in 2012 my wife and I went for a walk in Spencer Smith Park, on the shore on Lake Ontario. I took this shot of her under a street lamp, hand held with my Pentax-F 50 f1.7.

Hate to think how cold it was!

Thanks Maria and Paul. I quite liked the effect of the light. I could have brightened it up, but it was the middle of the night, literally . It was chilly, but not terrible, particularly considering the date. The breeze off the lake made it feel colder than it really was.
