This was my first attempt at motorsport and at this point in the track the bikes were absolutely flying (the straight before Druids at Oulton park) - I have some great shots of a completely blank track with no sign of a bike to prove this - I panned them from a distance and then took a single shot when they reached a pre-determined point. Hence I was able to choose my background.
There is some movement in the wheels/background, but next time I shall try and increase this by reducing the shutter speed.
