Pin-Up Girls
by GIULIO57
Today is a cold winter day. I suppose is the right time to up-load this file on PUG. This photo was taken on June 2012 and that day was a hot-windy one. While taking photos of Mediterranean sea with one of my best photo-friends these two beautiful girls appeared in the compo. “God Bless You” I thought….They were aware I wanted them to stay in that place. A beautiful sea, beautiful colours and beautiful Shapes. What else? What are You thinking of? I’m married! Place: Lido di Camaiore-close to Viareggio-Tuscany-Italy. Pentax K20D on tripod, Pentax Lens 55-300 and no filters. I hope You like it.

Hi Giulio,
beautifully captured, is also a cure for these cold winter days!
PS. One "mali" advice. Never Walk (summer or winter) without ND (circular) filter, not to waste time with Cokin (for such cases, there are too many elements) filters.

Ah, summer.
Ah, ladies in the summer.
A very nicely exposed shot with the sun high overhead - not always easily done.

Thx a lot Velimir. About your advise: I don't have ND filters. I had when taking photos in analogic (slidechromes) but they don't fit to my digital lenses (diameter is different). When PUMA was in Florence gave me same warnings. I'll buy these devices BUT last year I spent my money for a graphic tablet (more necessary IMHO). About this photo "do you think I had to use a ND filter"? Honestly speaking when I started with digital I liked different chances that it gave me to "correct"flat images without using filters. Till now I tried not to use filters but "levels-curves-layers-masks" so to keep a more natural look and still live in an almost analogic world. Am I wrong? Sometimes I think so! By the way: Those girls were Two Beautiful Russian. Two beautiful Angels!!
