Mill 1
Have been experimenting off and on with some ICM over the last few months.
Will post some of the results over the next few weeks or so.
This of an old mill at sunset on the Leeds Liverpool canal.

Eye-catching, and now someone has to tell what ICM means, please?

Thanks both...
Mac, ICM stands for Intentional Camera Movement... ie, you intentionally move the camera when taking a photograph... which can make it inherently quite hit and miss, but effective when you can find subject and light that works for you...
What personally interests me about it is that it can offer a feeling or an impression of a something, as opposed to the stark clarity of the thing itself...
2 of the better known proponents in the UK are Chris Friel link, who was originally a painter I think, and Doug Chinnery link...
My shot above was taken at sunset with an exposure of 10 secs or so...

Thanks Bill!
As I get older and spazzier, this will offer a whole new genre for me.

Wonderful impressionistic shot. I'm sure this captures the mood better than a sharply focused one.

Blur done well is a beautiful thing. Beautiful thing then.
"The Latent Image that exists before development is a truly mystical and exciting entity and some subsequent individual photographs can make the spine tingle."
