Thanks for all the comments.. I purchased the Sigma 150 - 500. Two years ago purposefully to get a shot like this, from the Open. Alas they all turned out poor. So I've had to wait two years for the opportunity to have another bash.. So I'm really pleased with the result.. Thanks all for your critique and kind words..
