"It's June in January"

I've never had much luck with getting my Hemerocallis (Day Lilly) to bloom so in late Sept I bought another healthy looking 'end of season' pot. I re-potted it to the next size and left it in a sheltered place in the garden.
Last week it sent up 3 new budded shoots and this dormant bud on an old stem started to open !
Unfortunately the weather has now turned much colder so this is probably 'as good as it gets' ?
Still hoping though !
