El Aguila Aqueduct

El Aguila Aqueduct
The aqueduct is 40 metres tall, 90 metres long and with four floors of brick arcades that have a total of 37 arches and was constructed in 1880 to carry water to the nearby San Joaquín de Maro sugar factory. The factory is no longer in use, however, the aqueduct still serves to convey water to the adjacent crop growing areas.
