Path of the storm.

Blazing sunshine against a gigantic thundercloud (well above the top of the photo) produced the most exaggerated colours as thunderstorms passed over the Birmingham (UK) region. Thousands lost their electricity connections and many flash floods were reported. The action was at least 25 miles away so I could watch without getting wet.
Pentax K1 with a vintage Russian Industar 61L/Z 2.8/50 - like most macro lenses it is very good when used conventionally. The crop is 'spring' onions, sown in April and now being harvested in mid August !
