The Needle

The needle at the Quiraing on Skye is a dramatic photo location. But it’s a steep climb up on slippery ground, made even harder in buckshot hail and gale force wind!!

I don't normally put people in my landscape photos, perhaps a lone figure on a beach works. In this case the scale of the needle (nearly 40m high) is hard to judge without the reference scale of the figure. At least the red jacket is a change from the cliched "Instagram Yellow"
