Northton Salt Flats
Ceapabhal Hill (368m) rises behind the intricate, mazy patterns of the Northton Salt Marsh on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. The island is a bit of a photographer's paradise!

POV picture perfect and one of the most effective lead-ins I have seen in a while. Texture aplenty and wonderful contrast with between land and water. The mountain provides scale and a focal point.Like a whole bunch.

Very likeable photograph, as are all of yours!
I agree with your comment regarding Harris, it's a special 'island'.
PS Stanley Kubrick appreciated this and made good use of these salt flats of the Harris landscape in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
