...and they're off!

Taken at the Wasdale Show (Shepherds' Meet) on Saturday last. This is the start of the 2nd hound trail race, where the contenders follow an oil and aniseed trail that has been laid earlier by club members. The track takes the hounds over the fells (mountains) so that they can be seen by the owners (and those betting) using binoculars.
