Hare or rabbit?

Is this a hare or a rabbit? Friends I've shown it to say a hare.

I think it's a young Hare, but not sure, it's a lovely capture.

Looks like a Hare to me, the ears look a bit too big for a Rabbit and it also has a slightly longer face than a rabbit, nice capture.

Thanks for all your kind comments.
I am told by the "Hare Preservation Society" that it's probably a young hare. Apparently the tips of the ears should be blacker, but the eyes are the right colour.
