Pelican in flight

by malfis

I've been going through some of the images I shot on my last visit to my son and his family in Texas.
I quite like this one of a pelican taken at The John Bunker Sands Wetland Centre near Dallas.
Shot with the K3iii and D FA 150-450mm, 1/1000th @ f11, ISO 560

I really am disappointed with the reproduction of this image.
The original is tack sharp, yet this, to my eyes, is mediocre.
Lots of gear - but not a lot of idea!

Hi malfis, I've found that if I upload the full resolution image the PentasUser web pages seems to manage it well. Then the '1000px' button gives an okay result but the 'Fit Browser Width' button opens up a much better result. Whereas your image is the same size as the normal gallery page when either button is used.

Try uploading an image at full resolution and see how it goes!

Hope that helps.

Cheers
