A very different view of a common bird. Well captured.

Well that could hardly have been better timed, shutter speed has really allowed the movement to be captured, whether intentionally or not, it sure has worked a treat.
Savage shot.
Strange lens
But still a savage shot

I'd savage the tree as well to get shots like this one !

Thank you Malc, Derek, Maria and David!
Derek the 'strange lens' - Tammy 70-200 plus 1.4x converter.

The nest is in the hollow of the tree only about 3 foot from the ground adjacent to the public footpath through the (bluebell) woodland. Some children pointed it out to me; you could hear the chicks calling out for food!

Thanks for the info Andy.
By strange lens I was referring to the exif as I was curious about the shutter speed on this one.
