A view through the trees

by PeterKR

This shot was taken from the Berkshire side of 'The Goring Gap' where the Thames runs in a valley between the edge of the Berkshire Downs and the southern edge of the Chilterns.
The river is hidden from view just beyond the dark trees in the middle distance.
If you view large and can zoom in further you will be able to see some farm buildings on the top of the far hill.
NB: Viewing large also enhances the texture of the tree bark, David !

Some nice trees there, especially the enormous holly. I wonder what the huge trunk is behind it?
Like Giulio says, it's super sharp !
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
