As my original shot seems to have deleted itself from my portfolio I find myself having the opportunity to post an updated version, slightly edited by daughter Shari.
The chateau is located close to the town of St. Emilion and is a constituent part of a winery complex and which has been converted into a very tasteful hotel. Photo from 2004.

I can see what Andrew means, it really is almost perfect. So much so that it looks a bit like one of the computer-generated drawings that architects use to show off a new housing development
One criticism, not too noticeable though, is that the spire is touching the edge of the frame. Still very nice though!
