Eyecatching warm tones
Thanks very much indeed Giulio The dynamic range was massive during that last lingering flash of light, I used a 3-stop ND Grad and still chose to bracket 3 exposures at -2, 0, +2 ev to create an HDR image. Worth the effort, I thought, to record such a fine moment in a beautiful pastoral idyll.
Lovely light, thoughtful composition... There's an understated beauty to this...

Many Thanks indeed Bill It was delightful to bear witness to a wonderful set of elements that evening. It was a challenge to harmonize the land and sky light levels in the camera (oh how cleverly our eyes deal with high dynamic range scenes!). However, it was a moment worth using craft skills to make a record of an event that struck me on a visceral level. The square frame was visualized and at a particular moment I pressed the shutter, smiling.
Thanks very much indeed David
Spectacular sunset, reminds me of the old Kellogg's Corn flakes sunrise advert
Thank you very much Malc! The idea of it being a graphic backdrop to an advert makes me smile Maybe a classy organic food product
