Lascody Lane

by Wildwood512

Photo of my next door neighbor's driveway to their house. There was a wonderful mist of low fog across the field and the high iso combo with the lens created a very grainy look so I played with it from there and this is the rendering.
I like it full frame and also like it cropped, but decided to share this version.

Try it in B&W - would look very good, too.

Really like this... Very filmic in feel... Love the colours, and the vignetting... Almost feels Cross-Processed...

Duh! What house?
Nice driveway though

Only the extremely rich could have a driveway that long in the rather cramped UK....or farmers with lots of acres.
I'm torn between the beautiful colour in the roadside verges in this version and the stark beauty and drama of the mono version. Best to sit back and enjoy both.

Thanks so much, everyone! 😄

David(trout) and PUGsters (my chosen name for us PU GALLERY folk) I like your take on the two versions, "best to sit back and enjoy both".

As for that long driveway, it's a country farmland driveway that's so long it actually has it's own street sign even though there is only one house on it at the end of it. The land on either side is planted alternately in seed-corn and soybeans. Our property buts up against the ground to the left side of the treeline. As a matter of fact, my husband's mom and stepdad owned the land right up to the left tree line, (160 acres total) but when his parents passed the property was split between siblings...we kept 40 acres which includes 25 acres of woods and his sibs sold their portion to the neighbor Mike Lascody and yes, he had bundles of money to invest in real estate. We built our home on our portion about 18 years ago. Will post a pic of my house and property some day.
Cheers...Donna 😊

I'd love to give you a rundown on my driveway but if you blinked you'd miss it!
Makes an interesting shot Donna!
