I saw from the'exif data'you had the camera set to 'landscape mode'-whatever for when it is a 'portrait'? The photo is too dark,needs to be made lighter in a programme such as PhotoShop if you have it.

apart from the technical aspects (which I am still learning about) I think this is brilliant composition - it captures that "cat owner" relationship and I love how the cats RH eye leads to it's ear and then to the models eye and I also like the angle of the subjects across the photo - great shot!
