Very nice shot of this classic engine David - taken with my favourite lens for this sort of work - and well done on the PPG acceptance.
Have been considering a trip to Shildon - how does it compare to York?

Thanks for the comments Graham, Carl and Mark. 'Locomotion' at SHildon is a branch of the National Railway Museum which is at York and has a considerable range of exhibits, although not as large as York. Locos are often interchanged between York and Shildon.

Interesting and unusual shot. I like the angle, the conversion and the distortion of the wide angle lens. It's a great shot, David.

The sky seems to radiate from the chimney of the loco, adding to the appeal.
