Streamlined to beat the band! Diagonal adds energy to a well-exposed/composed portrait.

Thanks for the very kind comments.
Picture was taken at Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve near Bridlington - great location for taking pics of birds in flight. Bit of a rugby scrum at each of the vantage points along the cliff tops so you need sharp elbows !!!.
I have to say the Pentax 55-300 lens on a value basis has to be one of the best lenses I have bought - paid £70 for it S/H and the IQ even at the long end is sharp - bit slow being screw drive but managed to get a good number of keepers on the day.
Thanks again

That's a beautiful shot, showing the beauty and elegance of the gannet in flight - in contrast to the total mess it is when it is trying to land. It also shows your camera craft to have got it so well exposed and sharp in flight. Well done. You have inspired me to share a couple of my recent shots from Bempton trips. Just realised, I was there the same day as you, although by 20.46, I was tucking into my fish and chips.
