Funchal from Monte Palace Gardens

View south-westwards over Funchal in Madeira from Monte Palace Gardens, MZ50 with 28-80 zoom. I have been putting together a series of pictures of Madeira, one of my favourite walking destinations, from around 5,000 images taken over the last 15 years - mainly with Pentax equipment. I selected quite a few scans from negatives, reminded of how film can be better at creating atmosphere and capturing dynamic range. Maybe time to buy another roll of film for my ME Super...
