Spitfire Mk IXc

This particular Spitfire IXc was built at Castle Bromwich in early 1944 before being delivered to a Canadian squadron in March 1944.
It flew 60 sorties during WW2, was damaged 3 times and credited with 1/2 kill of a Messerschmitt Bf109!
Now part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF).
