Thanks for your comments guys. I have to say, all credit to the museum for the fabulous lighting they use to display their exhibits. 'Flash' photography is not allowed which makes it ideal for experimenting with high ISO. My Kx was in its element and on the day we visited the museum was relatively quiet so it was easy to get shots without hordes of people obstructing the views!

The 'metal beauty' portrayed above actually slowly rotates on its spindle allowing you to get exactly the composition you want, its just a case of waiting until it has rotated to the exact position you require and then pressing the shutter button.

Best of all...entry to the museum is free! (although you do have to pay to park in the multi-storey next door). Allow 4-5 hours.
