Yesterday a lovely day in Budleigh Salterton, classic pebble beach with a mixture of boats, kayaks and paddle boards.
Shot at f2.8 (wide open) and processed using DxO.

Thanks Giulio, that just about sums up Budleigh Salterton as a place!

Nice. Interesting choice to shot wide open. Obviously an excellent lens

Thanks leep, actually I took the same shot at f8 first and then at f2.8. As you'd expect at f8 pretty much everything is sharp but I thought the f2.8 version gave a nice subtle out of focus blur especially to the background which gives a sort of 3D effect, it's not that obvious until you look at the image large i.e. 'Fit Browser Width' as I uploaded it at full resolution.

Yes the 35mm HD Ltd is a fantastic lens, it's one of my favourite lenses it is really very sharp and the Macro ability is a bonus. I also have the 21mm and the 15mm HD Ltds but they don't get the same amount of use, they are clearly very good lenses but I should use them more to find out how to get the most from them, especially the 15mm which I find the hardest to use.

Thanks for the interesting comment. I have the 15mm Ltd on my k5. My usual F8 and focus in a bit doesn't always work... but I think I am getting better with it.
