As above...also intense dominant orange with nicely accentuated, white highlighted rick-rack pattern. Also like the vertical lines created buy the step's drip edge. Good eye in spotting this wonderful display of design elements.

Stunning!!
Been looking at it (large) for about 20 minutes, trying to figure it out...the angles i mean.
Are they steps? Is the dark orange wall set back from the lighter coloured orange wall. The left hand side of the "window" part of the wall at the top, yet the join above the "sill" looks like it should go in a different direction. I find it very Escher-esque.
A very simple, clean image, yet so much to look at.

Simon - it is a set of steps. You enter from the left through the arch and go up a flight of stairs and the white sill is effectively a banister. There is also another small door on the left under the arch. The whole structure is built on quite a steep corner and I think that it is that slope that results in an interesting perspective - the colours didn't do it any harm either.
