Its a large tree that was behind me Scott, the suns rays came through the branches and highlighted the swan.

Interesting angle - how did you manage the 'overhead' shot??

Despite the contrasts good detail on the swan.

Hi John, had to lean over the railings that surround the park lake,there's about a six foot drop to the water, and a few bits of bread to entice the swan to the edge did the trick.
