A nice shot of a very strange bird, When swimming? they just seem to have the neck showing out of the water.
They remind me of ancient birds from the Dinosaur time.

Looks like a very sharp beak, but if you are chasing snakes I suppose you need one, good composition and he/she posed well for you.
