In the kingdom of the dragon

The waters of the O Brook on Dartmoor, cascading around a chockstone granite boulder on their way to the Dart valley far below.
It is said that in the medieval era that the valley of the O Brook, on Dartmoor, was home to an infamous dragon. Tin miners were fearsome of the place and many folk of the moors would detour this place by many miles. Farmers were said to have many animals over the years and it was reputed to have eaten a few weary travellers too.

See the misty person below the middle boulder with outstretched arms and legs with the hair blown to the left by a strong wind ? - Perhaps the person was running away from a dragon and because he ran so fast was cursed by the dragon to run from him forever.? Thats what I see and I'm sticking to it. With insouciant regularity you produce images of awe and wonder. Happy you do. Thanks T

Very nicely done. I like the colours and textures. I can almost smell the damp freshness. Could be taken in any upland area in Western Britain.

Thanks very much Bill I seem to be fascinated by confluences, though they are calming to gaze upon... more so than to kayak when two sizeable whitewater rivers meet
