End of the Day

Mono image of Angel Place Shopping Centre in Bridgwater at the end of the day.

Peacocks on the left is staying, Bonmarche on the right closing down, but it will re-open as Bonmarche 3 weeks later with new stock.

It is ashame that at least 20% of the shops in our town are empty and when a new business opens up it only seems to last a few months.

I think it's the same in every town Jeremy, our little market has almost but gone now, and i've actually visited this shopping mall, quite a few years ago now though, my uncle lived in Bridgwater.

I think your decision to shoot this scene without shoppers was the right one as it emphasises the point you have made about the shops closing down.
