Getting some practise with the Sigma 70-300, i just want to cut that branch off, but i'm quite happy with the detail, maybe when we get some better light i'll try again and get one without a branch in the way, i think it looks better large.

That's really very impressive - sharp on the bird but with good use of DOF and the colours of the branches complement the plumage. And I actually really like the branch, which 'wraps' him into the willow.

Look forward to seeing more of your experiments with this
