Soft compo and good use of DOF. Your photos always bear something special and this allows me to recognize your "footprint"

exquisite creation, Maria, .. really "stunning" as said above, .. I particularly like the color harmony, .. but I'd opt for f9 even f10; .. I'm sure you've got why ..

question : is it taken with Pentax 55-300 DA ?

best wishes,

Thank you very much Senn, yes the question is why f9 or f 10, i'd be really grateful for the info.

The lens was Tamron 70-300, it's the only macro lens i have at the moment, it does give a soft look.

That's an excellent shot, Maria! I love the light, compo, colour and managemant of DOF. That's not a bad lens at all, ha!

Thank you very much Senn, yes the question is why f9 or f 10 actually, i'd be really grateful for the info.

Hi Maria,
Sorry for having delayed my reaction,

Cause I imagine your pic stronger with DOF spanning to second flower too. I opted for modesty to suggesting f10. I’d go up to f16. But you’d have probably to use a pod.
Best wishes
